Does a Moral Compass Exist?

Details

September's study will be conducted by Bro. Karoli Clever as he asks the question, "Does a Moral Compass Exist?"

Synopsis:
Over the past six to eight millennia, all societies and civilizations have undergone profound changes and periods of enlightenment. With growth comes responsibility and accountability, yet humanity has never fully agreed upon which morals should be instilled in the individual or upheld by society. Today, in an increasingly interconnected, information-driven world, we face complex ethical and social challenges that demand constant reflection. Freemasonry offers a framework to remain vigilant before the new and unknown, cultivating scrutiny to align our moral compass with wisdom and understanding. This requires both reverence for ancient teachings and openness to emerging insights, learning how to weave the two together so that we preserve the truly humane within humanity.

Mission Statement:
The Masonic Philosophical Society embraces the concept of learning, not for school, but for life, and believes that all men, who seek it, deserve access to continued education. We further embrace the concept of a community environment where ideas can be shared and debated in an open forum. From the seven liberal arts to the arcane, we seek to gain and share the knowledge that is the legacy of mankind.
