December's will be conducted by Bro. Pamela McDown as he asks the question, "How do the Ten Seed Groups reflect a Masonic Blueprint for Rebuilding Humanity?"

Synopsis:
This presentation explores the visionary framework of the Ten Seed Groups as outlined in the esoteric teachings of Alice Bailey and further developed in the recent book of David E. Hopper. Conceived as instruments for externalizing the soul of humanity, these groups were tasked with advancing the Divine Plan through focused work in areas such as healing, education, politics, science, and religion—what might be called the sacred sciences of the soul. Each group was designed to craft a particular dimension of human evolution through conscious, coordinated group service.

Yet the original discipleship experiment ultimately faltered, unable to achieve the cohesion and selflessness required for true spiritual synthesis. What lessons might Freemasons draw from this noble but unfinished labor? How does the idea of a consciously constructed group soul mirror the Lodge’s quest to form a spiritual temple “not made with hands”? Were these groups undermined by the same inner obstacles—ego, ambition, and personality pride that challenge masonic initiatory paths?

Mission Statement:

The Masonic Philosophical Society embraces the concept of learning, not for school, but for life, and believes that all men, who seek it, deserve access to continued education. We further embrace the concept of a community environment where ideas can be shared and debated in an open forum. From the seven liberal arts to the arcane, we seek to gain and share the knowledge that is the legacy of mankind.
