Join us for an open Bible study and discussion centered on a topic that Scripture treats seriously — the Adversary.

Before attending, please watch this short video that frames the Biblical storyline from the devil’s point of view:

This study won’t be about sensationalizing Satan or giving him attention for attention’s sake — but about better understanding how Scripture describes the enemy’s role, strategy, and limitations — and how believers are invited to stand firm in Christ in the middle of real spiritual conflict.

We’ll especially focus on three key sections of Scripture:

Genesis 3 — the serpent’s first appearance and the ancient pattern of temptation

Job 1–2 — the adversary’s challenge in the heavenly council

1 Peter 5:8–9 — a call to sober-minded vigilance and resistance

These passages give a surprising amount of insight into how the enemy operates… and how God ultimately uses even spiritual opposition to strengthen His people.

Along the way, we’ll briefly reference other relevant passages (Isaiah 14, Ezekiel 28, Matthew 4, Ephesians 6, Revelation 12 & 20) — but the main discussion will revolve around Genesis, Job, and Peter so we can stay grounded and focused.

📖 Preparation
Please watch the linked video beforehand and read Genesis 3, Job 1–2, and 1 Peter 5:8–9.
Think about one question ahead of time:
What do you notice about how the adversary actually speaks and operates in Scripture — compared to how culture portrays him?

☕ Location
We’ll meet again at Panera Bread (same place as last time). If turnout continues to grow, we may move future gatherings into a more relaxed home setting.

🙌 Everyone welcome
This is an open discussion — not a lecture.
You don’t need to be a theology expert or have tons of Bible background.
The goal is to learn together, ask questions honestly, and sharpen spiritual discernment in a grounded, Biblical way.

Come ready to talk, listen, and grow — as we explore what Scripture really reveals about our enemy… and why we don’t have to fear him.
