Take a 3D tour of the indoor Beech Maple Lodge

Hot tea, coffee and bottled water will be provided. There will also be vegan snacks throughout the day. We will have vegan S'mores too! Sit by the fireplace, take an autumn walk on the lovely park trails, shop from a few vegan vendors, get your fortune told by Debbie, attend some presentations on health, wellness and community topics, or just socialize and make new friends. Come for some of the activities or spend the whole day!

Pure Joy Massage & Yoga is sponsoring this free event, but we will be collecting donations of canned food (vegan only please) or money for Kind Meals.

9:30-10:30: Joy Lawrence ~ Ahimsa Yoga ~ Honor the strong connection
to all Earthlings with this peaceful yogic practice. Bring a yoga
mat and wear comfortable clothes.
11:00-11:45: Ivory Levert (founder of Plant the Power) ~ A Holistic,
Intersectional Approach to Plant-Based Living ~ Plant The Power
seeks to create safe spaces for communities of color to develop
and reconnect honoring our personal health, our planet and
other animals.
12:00-12:45: Breona Baines (founder of CO*PAW) ~ Learn how Central
Ohio’s Programs for Animal Welfare provides low-cost
veterinary services to under-served communities and rescue
groups, and so much more!
1:00-1:45: Brenda Thomas (owner of Healing Garden Cafe) ~ Herbs -
Nature’s Gift to HEALthy-Self ~ Why we should take a chance
on Nature’s medicine.
2:00-2:45: Dr. Liz Cummins (founder of Cummins Women's HealthCare)
~ Create Positive Change through the Power of Lifestyle ~ The first step to good health is to empower you with information so you can create the
change you desire.
3:00-4:00: Vegan Drumming/Percussion Circle ~ Join together with
sound and community. *Please no drums or instruments made
from animals*. This is a vegan circle so be creative and have fun
with whatever animal-free instruments you bring.
4:30-6:30: VEGAN POTLUCK ~ Bring your favorite VEGAN dish to share!
No eggs, dairy, honey or other animal parts please.
Compostable plates and utensils will be provided.

This lodge holds 72 people, has heating and air conditioning, a full kitchen with sink, refrigerator, microwave and electric range, plus a serving window. Also has a gas fireplace, large meeting room with pull down screen, WiFi and restrooms. Outside patio with picnic tables and grills. Parking for 61 cars with 2 handicap spots.
*** Please note that alcohol is not permitted anywhere in the metro park.
