"Shiner Brewery Tour & Palmetto State Park"

We go thru the country to Shiner - fuel and rest stop then over to the Brewery for a 30 minute tour and lunch. Shiner is a family owned beer in this tiny town. The tour is free and and you can sample some of the beer (not recommended) (<:. There is a short video of the brewery's history which is good as the tour doesn't go into this much. You will be able to look through glass walls to see the worker's doing their task. The place has a great atmosphere as all the employees know each other and greet the visitors. After this we head to Luling with a stop in Palmetto State Park (where I missed hitting a deer by a foot the last time I rode my bike here). When ready we will head on to Luling and then home.
