Come Mentor with us Knoxville!
Details
The VERB Kind Knoxville is a community of mentors committed to showing up consistently for justice-involved and at-risk youth in our city. We currently serve youth at the Richard L. Bean Juvenile Detention Center on Monday nights, building relationships that foster leadership, accountability, and hope for the future.
Our mentors are trained and supported to go inside facilities and meet young people where they are—often at a pivotal moment in their lives. Through consistent presence, structured conversations, and life-skills programming, we help youth develop the tools they need to make positive choices and envision a different path forward.
As we grow in Knoxville, we are actively expanding to additional locations and serving more youth, and we welcome compassionate, committed adults who want to be part of meaningful, long-term impact. Whether you’re exploring mentorship for the first time or looking for a deeper way to serve, this group exists to connect, equip, and mobilize mentors to change lives in our community.
