Ice dancing pop-up at The Boston Common Frog Pond

Gather with fellow skaters to groove and dance to music on ice. Learn to incorporate more fun, rhythm, and creative self-expression into your ice skating, and turn it into dancing! There’s no formal lesson, but I’ll be glad to share some tips for how to unlock more freedom on skates, and how to let the music and ice move you toward a more satisfying, authentic, and safe free skate experience. This is a great opportunity to inspire and be inspired, to feel the flow and glide of ice dance in a supportive and friendly public space. To participate please be moderately confident on ice skates, such that you can safely navigate a crowded public rink. Ice skates, admission and rental is on your own. Consider making a donation of $10-20 if you feel inspired afterwards. No matter what, come on out and meet new friends and enjoy some classic Boston skating :)
