How to Tell Stories 2015

In 2015 I want to make a regular Midweek fun comedy-related workshops followed by a comedy gig to watch.

What better way to start the new year with another story telling workshop with the wonderfully fun and brilliant Dave Rock + Carl Flanagan (7pm - 9pm)

Followed by a night of comedy with Patrick Mc Donnell (Fr. Ted / The Savage Eye) 9 - 11pm

Storytelling is something we all do, in one way or another. It's a basic life-skill, and having the confidence and skill to tell stories really well is life-enhancing no matter what you use it for! Whether you're a public-speaker, performer, or just looking for some confidence and craic, this workshop will call out your deep inner reserves of pizzazz and verve. We'll explore a few simple, powerful tools to bring stories to life, have loads of fun, and generally feel great.

Dave Rock is an award winning spoken word artist, a magical storyteller, and a gifted teacher of performance and public speaking skills. Recommended donation is €10 and that includes free entrance into the comedy club afterwards if you want to hang out with the group.

Abeer will be the host for this event. She is friendly and inclusive and happy to meet new people... but you are all responsible for being awesome... so awesome up your interactions in the new year!!
