Improv Comedy Sketch Workshop - brainstorm and improvise comedy scenes, make friends!
In this workshop, we will practice a step-by-step process for brainstorming and improvising comedy sketches, meet friendly and creative people, and have fun playing improv games.
We will meet in Turia park, do several exercises to learn the key concepts of creating a comedy sketch, brainstorm ridiculous ideas, and play out silly scenes based on them.
This workshop is for comedy nerds like me - improvisers who want to get better at improvising funny scenes, comedy writers who want to learn to create comedy sketches, and TTRPG players who want to add comedy to their games.
Improv or comedy writing experience will be helpful, but not required. Beginners are welcome. The only prerequisites are: curiosity and desire to learn a challenging skill.
