Howdy,
Are you an aspiring (wanna-be) English speaking comedian in Berlin? And are you also realizing that getting a spot to even try your....least polished (crap) material is half the battle? If so this is the group for you.
I (Robert) will be organizing events where rookie comedians like you (and me?👉👈🥺) can try out our material, in a judgement free, paying audience free, environment. Just a group of wanna-be's meeting up giving each other space to practice and feedback if desired.
I ask that everyone contribute some $$ since event space ain't free, and also come with around 5 minutes of prepared-ish material. NO CROWDWORK. NO IMPROV. You wanna riff and make fun of drunk tourists, go to a bar. The purpose here is to write/present/practice/and perfect jokes. Simple as. Limited number of spots, and everyone who attends gets to practice 5 minutes.
This group is for people who have done stand-up at least once. This is not the setting or space for first timers. Nor is this the space for people who've done 15+ shows and want a practice space. I spend way too much time in comedy clubs, I will recognize you :P
