Welcome to Comedy Writers North East!
This group is dedicated to writers of comedy or humour who are interested in writing for film and television, as well as writing books or other types of humorous writing. This is a new group, and if you'd like to come along, you'll be very welcome. We'll meet twice a month initially and get together somewhere quiet for a chat over coffee or a drink. The group is more about socialising with like-minded writers and sharing our experiences and encouragement. It's not a writers' group - it's more of a get-together for writers.
You don't need to be a published writer - You just need to enjoy writing humour. Whether you want to write for TV, the big screen or a novel, we'd love to have you.
