Let's enjoy a September weekend at Lake Wappapello State Park. If you can't come for all 3 days, please join us for Friday and Saturday.

The campground loop is right on the edge of the water and is very picturesque. You can launch your kayak or canoe from the campground. There is also kayaking at Mingo National Wildlife Refuge, about 35 minute drive. You need your own kayak or canoe. There are several trails in the park for hiking too.

We'll be in the Asher Creek campground (loop). It is a small loop, so reserve your site quickly. The Ridge Campground (loop) is nearby and has cabins. Although the Ridge loop is close, it is not within walking distance. I have site 58 reserved and we'll use site 63 for the group's gatherings.

We'll have the usual group campfires each night and potluck on Sat evening.

Please RSVP with site # by Nov 15. When you RSVP be sure to include a proper guest count if someone else is joining you, so I can keep an accurate count of attendees.
