In honor of Mother's Day, for May we'll be reading "Can't We Talk About Something More Pleasant?" a graphic memoir by Roz Chast about parents and children.
A National Book Award winner, Chast's memoir follows her relationship with her aging parents in their final years and the difficult decisions that come with caretaking. A poignant, funny and heartbreaking story from a NYT cartoonist.
Discussion will be held in English, but attendees are free to read the work in any language they prefer.
