✍️🌍 Forbidden knowledge: Witch Hat Atelier & Orb

For this month's session, we will be reading two different mangas on forbidden knowledge: Witch Hat Atelier and Orb.

• Witch Hat Atelier (2016 - Present) by Kamome Shirahama is the journey of Coco, a witch in training, as she learns magic to undo a horrible mistake. But magic is not for everyone, and she must keep the secret of the craft while avoiding forbidden spells.

• Orb: On the Movements of the Earth (2020 - 2022) by Uoto follows several astronomers in the middle ages as they grapple with their knowledge in the grip of the church.

Discussion will be held in English, but attendees are free to read the work in any language they prefer.
