Hi all (y’all) — I’m Jenay, and I’m thrilled to introduce Committed to Music ATX! This group is an evolution of my first Meetup, Committed to Fun, which launched in 2021. That group brought amazing people together, and now we’re turning up the volume to focus on the heartbeat of this city — live music.
A little about me: I’m originally from Chicago, but I’ve proudly called Austin home since 2014. With Puerto Rican roots, you can expect a mix of cultural and multilingual events here, too. I try to catch live music weekly, and I’m hoping this group inspires all of us to get out and enjoy even more shows together.
What to expect:
🎶 I’ll post as many music events as I can each week — from major concerts to smaller local shows.
🎶 While I won’t make it to everything, you’re encouraged to attend, connect, and share the experience.
🎶 As members, please keep it kind, safe, and fun; respect each other and enjoy the music.
🎶 Know of a show or music event? Message me and I’ll post it to the board.
🎶 This group is 21+ since many events may involve meeting up at restaurants or bars.
