Summer Jazz @ LACMA

The 2026 season of Jazz at LACMA has kicked off and so has Common Groove! Join us on the grass in front of the famous LACMA lampposts in for an enjoyable summer evening filled with good music and fabulous company. Music this week is the Ray Charles Alumni Band!

This is a free event. No tickets needed. All are welcome! A picnic blanket, lawn chair, food and drinks for yourself, or to share, and a light sweater are encouraged.

Hi all! Looking forward to seeing and meeting many of you at the event! A few things to consider:

• Arrive with plenty of time to park and walk to the venue. This is a popular event. Don’t worry about getting there “too early.” I will already be there!
• Music starts at 6p, and I would love to have time for introductions beforehand.
