Common Grounds: A Gathering of Story, Stillness, and Shared Humanity

Details
No more small talk!
In a world spinning fast, where headlines divide and everyday life can feel like survival, Common Grounds offers something we’re all quietly craving: a return to what makes us human.
This isn’t your typical event. There are no name tags, no panels, no networking pitches. Just us, gathered in community, in stillness, in story. We come together not to fix each other, but to see each other.
To share a breath, a silence, a memory.
To speak from the heart.
To remember that beyond algorithms and headlines, we belong to one another.
Whether you're carrying something heavy or simply yearning for real connection, come as you are. There’s nothing to prepare. Your presence is enough. This is not a solution. It’s a beginning.
A small, sacred space where we can breathe, feel, and reconnect over a cup of tea or coffee!
All are welcome. Always.
About the Organizer
This gathering is hosted by a wellness enthusiast, community builder, and immigrant-settler who works by day at a university and craves by night deeper connections. He's the founder of Common Grounds, a newly formed community group dedicated to creating quiet, meaningful spaces for reflection, care, and belonging.
No Hate Policy
Common Grounds is a space for care, respect, and shared humanity. Discrimination, hate speech, or harassment of any kind—based on race, gender, sexuality, ability, religion, or background—will NOT be tolerated. We’re here to listen, not to harm. Let’s hold this space with kindness.
