Are you interested in small meetups to make new friends?
I moved to Denver about 2 years ago and found it hard to meet new people. Meetups were too large, I wasn't meeting the right people, etc. So I decided to try something new.
I've been matching people into small groups of 4-6 and scheduling an event such as dinner for each group to hang out and get to know each other. I feel like it's much easier to get to know people in smaller groups.
In the last year, I started turning this into an actual company called Commonly and have hosted over 250 events 🙂
Here's how it works:
- Sign up at www.trycommonly.com and then download our mobile app
- Build a private profile and select the dates you want to meet people
- Two days before your event, I'll match you with like-minded people and coordinate a fun event for your group
- If you meet anyone and make a mutual connection, I'll pair you together at future events
