Welcome to our network of non-profit Toastmasters clubs in Oakland which exist to help YOU with your public speaking, storytelling and communication skills. You're welcome to visit a few club meetings based on the time and place that works for your schedule.

Toastmasters International is a worldwide community with proven speaking and communication programs to take scared public speakers, self-professed introverts and unskilled managers and grow them into confident, competent, and even amazing leaders and presenters — all at your own pace, based on your own goals.
We're a non-profit, so we're cheap to join, and all we really want is for you to come grow in our safe environment, joining our supportive and amazing community!

We are a Toastmasters public speaking club located in the Temescal area of Oakland, CA. Our focus is on supporting members in improving their public speaking and leadership skills.
We are on Zoom on Mondays, and every third Monday we meet in person, in Oakland.
Contact us or visit our website for a meeting invite and directions to our in-person meetings.
Our meetings start promptly at 7:00 pm, and we ask that you sign in (or arrive) at 6:45 pm so we can greet you before the meeting. We may lock access after the session starts, so please be sure to log on early, We kindly ask that you keep your camera on as a courtesy to fellow members and guests.
With members in industries from tech and nonprofit to parks service and advanced education, we are a diverse and fun club, and we look forward to meeting you!

WHEN: Every Tuesday, 7-8am Pacific TimeWHAT: A few people give 1-2 minute impromptu speeches in each meeting. One or more give 5-7 minute prepared speeches. It's a great way to energize your day and become a clear, crisp communicator...and listener!
