This is the launch of the first workshop event of the Word Smith Book Club.
We all know that reading books can make you wiser, but you can get a lot more out of a book if you are involved. This is particularly true of personal development books.
These workshops, based on the books “How to Be More Interesting”, by Edward de Bono, and “Communication And Coaching Strategies To Deal With Difficult People”
Monica Dimitriu, the author of “…Deal With Difficult People”herself, will lead the workshop on developing humour.
(Don’t worry if you’ve not read the books yet, you can still attend!)
If you were thinking reading a joke book is the best way to catalyse your ability to be humourous… think again.
Jack Gilbey, stand-up comedian in Brussels, will show you how using Edward de Bono’s book can give you a razor sharp wit.
Afterwards, Monica Dimitriu, certified NLP coach, will give you one of the most valuable tools to deal with one of the most challenging (and frequently occurring!) scenarios in modern life – how to best go about situations involving difficult people!
