Did you know that soft skills like confidence, social skills, persuasiveness and even charisma, aren't innate traits, but skills you can learn?

Did you know that your effectiveness in communication and leadership has nothing to do with being and introvert or and extrovert?

Imagine, if you could speak on the spot in front of any audience and convince even without preparation.

Imagine, if you could initiate a discussion and connect with anyone, no matter the place or situation.

Imagine, if instead of feeling overwhelmed by pressure in high-stake situations, you could harness its energy and make and impact.

You don't have to imagine. This is why I created these events. I used to feel overwhelmed by pressure. I used to miss opportunities. I used to feel blocked in my career because of my soft skills.

I know how frustrating it is. But more important: I know how it feels once you're finally free. This is why I teach these skills.

To tell you where I come from: I'm a former software engineer who couldn't talk to his neighbours, who then became the president of a Toastmasters club: an international organization for leadership and public speaking development.

Join us for a casually professional workshop in English where you can develop your soft skills and grow personally and professionally.

Program:

• Talk to Anyone: initiate a conversation with anyone, in all situations.
  => We do exercices and talk to people in the street.
• Speak as a Leader: speak with poise and be persuasive in front of an audience.
  => We improvise mini speeches on a given topic in front of the other participants.
• Develop your Professional Network: create opportunities and meaningful relationships with authenticity.
  => We end the evening in a nearby Tapas restaurant, to connect with each others and practice networking techniques.

No-dress code. Casual is welcome. Leaders aren't decided by their outfit.

Failure is encouraged (that's how we learn the most).

We welcome you regardless of your current level, as long as you bring a willingness to learn, share and grow.

This is a safe environment designed for people to stretch their comfort zone and make meaningful connections with others.

My name is Geoffrey (Jef) Huck. I'm a former software engineer who couldn't talk to his neighbours... Then I became the president of a Toastmasters Club (Strasbourg, France, 2022-2023), and an executive coach who teaches leaders how to speak and interact with people more effectively.
