Welcome to our monthly online accent modification class! This event is a great way to learn how to communicate more effectively and efficiently speaking American English.

Tonight we're covering two of the most difficult sounds in American English, /r/ and /l/. Many persons who speak American English with an accent mispronounce these sounds because they are not present in their first language or they are pronounced differently. For example, the /r/ sound is "trilled" in many languages or the /r/ and /l/ sounds are confused.

We'll learn how to better "hear" and pronounce these sounds and I'll provide as much 1:1 training as I can during the class. I'll also provide you with practice materials you can use at home and teach you the best way to practice to improve on your own.
