Looking to put some miles toward a great cause? The Community Beer Co. Cycling Team is helping spread the word about rideATAXIA Dallas, a community cycling event raising funds for research into Friedreich’s ataxia (FA).
Hosted at Lewisville Railroad Park, rideATAXIA brings cyclists, families, and supporters together for a day of riding, fundraising, and community. With 15-mile, 5-mile, and 1.5-mile ride/walk options, there’s a distance for just about everyone.
Stick around afterward for a post-ride lunch provided by Outback Steakhouse!

Ride Schedule:
- 8:30 AM – Check-in and registration
- 9:30 AM – 15-mile ride
- 10:30 AM – 5-mile ride and 1.5-mile ride/walk
- 11 AM–1 PM – Lunch by Outback Steakhouse

- $50 – No fundraising minimum
- $30 – With a $250 fundraising minimum

All funds raised support the Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Alliance (FARA) and its mission to advance research toward treatments and a cure.
A note to our Community Cycling Team: We’ll still have our regularly scheduled group ride at the brewery. rideATAXIA is an additional opportunity for anyone who would like to support a great cause and ride with the larger North Texas cycling community!
