Matthews / Winters Park Trail Maintenance Volunteering

In pursuit of being good outdoor stewards, let's get the hiking trails ready for the season!

Come with us to support Jefferson County Open Space at the beautiful Matthews / Winters Park! We will be doing trail maintenance work in improving drainage to prevent erosion and manage invasive/overgrown vegetation! This will help keep the trail safe and enjoyable for many years to come.

This work will be moderately physical work, so please plan accordingly.

Please bring closed-toe sturdy shoes, work gloves (if you have them, we may have extra), water/snacks, sunscreen, weather appropriate clothes. Extra set of pruners may be useful but not required!

We will be heading to nearby Over Yonder Brewing Company after volunteering to hangout!
