Help a regenerative farm that grows healthy food in Lakewood

Community Bucket is teaming up on October 26th with Grassroots Farm in Lakewood. This nonprofit regenerative farm is an impressive operation that doesn't just grow thousands of pounds of vegetables, but also raises chickens and rabbits. As always, it's a chance to meet like-minded peers and give back to our community at the same time.

It's Fall in Colorado, which means it's time to put the growing beds to rest for the winter season. We will be removing old crops, laying compost, and helping the farmer get ready for the off-season. This is critical for the beds to be in top shape for the Spring. (If you came to our project in May, this is the same farm we helped get ready for the growing season... full circle)

Many hands make light work, as they say. So, please join us for a peaceful morning of volunteering and community-building, and bring a friend or two along if you'd like. We'll enjoy some food and drinks as a group afterwards!
