First Meeting of Community From The Ashes (Meet and Greet and Planning)

This is THE FIRST meeting of Community From the Ashes!

The premise is simple: Let's meet up at a nice central location in the City, right next to Flinders Street, Introduce ourselves, chat a bit and plan some initial activities and discuss the direction of the group. Food and Drink is available at the venue but if you're operating on a budget you aren't obliged to get anything. I recommend you bring your diary or whatever means you plan and schedule your life so that we can all make plans for future events more easily.

I'll be making Reservations for us once I have at least some idea of how many might be attending. I've been to the venue before and know my way around, the Table will (likely) be on the First floor, same level as the kitchen. I'll post an update once I have more information. I'll be happy to take any questions and help people find the main group on the day but don't stress, it won't be too hard to find each other at the venue itself.

For those who are unsure of exactly what this community building project entails, I believe it should be a collaborative process. I have my ideas but I'm also curious to see what others bring to the table. The fundamental premise is to do something about the isolation of modernity, build a community, support each other where possible and enjoy a variety of activities, exactly how we do that is for all of us to decide.
