Array Music - Evergreen Club Community Gamelan Meetup.

Come join us to make music on the beautiful bronze gamelan degung from Indonesia played by Evergreen Club Contemporary Gamelan, Canada's first gamelan group (est. 1983).

Gamelan Meetup is a place where music lovers gather in a relaxed, no-pressure, friendly environment. In our sessions we explore the sound of the instruments, learn traditional Sundanese tunes and improvise to create our own music.

No musical experience is required. Our instructors will guide you. Whether you're a newbie or a music professional who wants to explore the gamelan, you're welcome.

Entry is Pay-What-You-Can ($20 per participant recommended; no one turned away)
