Meet at the Placerita Canyon Nature Center, Leed Building Classroom.

The Community Hiking Club and the Placerita Canyon Nature Center Associates are pleased to present “Raptors of Placerita Canyon” at the August Community Nature Series presentation. Mr. Chris Mowry and several of his Los Angeles Parks and Recreation colleagues at the Placerita Canyon Nature Center will discuss and show our local raptors.

Chris and his associates have several decades of combined experience in the captive management of, and public education about, our local raptors. Raptors include eagles, owls, falcons, and hawks.
