Renee will take you on a tour of the facility, introduce you to the wolves, and lead our hike with the wolves! It is an exhilarating experience!!! When we return from the hike, you can relax by the campfire while we get the BBQ ready for dinner at the Ranch. Cost PP is $35.00. (Note: Your donation is tax deductible) Please meet us at 3:00 at the Wolf Connection. Bring camera, and lots of water. Wear hiking boots, and bring poles if you have them. You will go about 1 mile & turn left on Arrastre St (there will be a huge wooden sign that reads "Thousand Trails" just after the street at the bend). Continue onto the partially paved road & you will see ahttp://photos4.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/d/f/9/a/event_95877242.jpeg huge Wolf Connection sign :) that's our property. Just continue to follow the signs, cross the creek, up the hill (the fenced area to the right is the compound & you will park up top) to parking (I will have someone to guide you).
NOTE: The Wolf Connection has snow from this past storm. Please dress in layers as it could be cold there, especially as we get into evening time. Bring layers to add, and wear layers to take off according to the temperature. Bring extra socks, hat, scarf, gloves, etc. There will be a campfire, and there is also a tee-pee where you can get warm. But, being prepared is the best alternative.
