This group is dedicated to posting alcohol-free community meetings open to the public, organized by organizations or individuals in Montréal-Nord.
Types of gatherings welcome:
– Community discussions or consultations
– Community devotions
– Readings or recitations (spoken, chanted, or sung) of religious texts
– Readings or recitations (spoken, chanted, or sung) of poetry
– Choirs
– Potluck meals
– Religious courses
– Language courses
– Courses on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights
– Community projects
– Other similar activities

Conditions for posting:
– The announcement must contain sufficient information to allow the reader to make an informed decision regarding the reader’s participation.
– For devotions and recitations, please specify:
· The religious texts (e.g., Buddhist, Christian, Muslim, Baháʼí, etc.) or poetic works (e.g., by Alfred, Lord Tennyson, etc.) that a participant may recite;
· The languages in which participants may recite;
· Whether participants may play an instrument or simply listen to other participants, according to their preference;
– If electronic amplification is permitted, indicate the maximum sound level in decibels below which a participant must limit any amplification.
– For a potluck dinner, please specify:
· Whether participants must bring a dish
· The type of dish accepted (e.g., vegan, lacto-vegetarian, Hindu, Buddhist, halal, etc.)
– For a religious course, we will allow:
· For the Bahá’í Faith, courses from the Ruhi Institute:
