What we’re about
You’re invited to join Peace Is Possible, a community of practice gathering in Raleigh, North Carolina, hosted and facilitated by Manal Omar.
This convening is designed as a space for peer learning, honest dialogue, and shared inquiry around a deceptively simple and deeply urgent question:
Is peace possible?
Rather than lectures or debates, we will learn with and from one another—bringing lived experience, professional insight, curiosity, and humility into the room. Together, we’ll explore what peace really means, what stands in its way, and how people and communities can cultivate it even in times of division and uncertainty.
Why Manal Omar?
Manal is uniquely suited to facilitate this conversation. She brings decades of experience working across lines of conflict, culture, and belief, with a rare ability to hold complexity without losing compassion. Known for her grounded presence and clarity, Manal creates spaces where people feel both challenged and safe—able to speak honestly, listen deeply, and see one another beyond labels. Her facilitation bridges global peacebuilding experience with a deeply human, relational approach, making her an exceptional guide for a dialogue of this kind.
If you’re drawn to thoughtful conversation, collective learning, and the possibility that peace is not naïve—but necessary—this gathering is for you.
We hope you’ll join us in Raleigh for this shared exploration.
Warmly,
Peace Is Possible – Community of Practice
