Are you feeling overwhelmed and uncertain?
Feeling sensitive to the stress around you?

Pause, breathe and steady yourself in this experiential retreat with nature, horses, and partswork.

As Reiki practitioners and people interested in spiritual practices and energy work, we often feel all of the stress around us. Rooted in the Self offers a space to pause, breathe, and return to inner steadiness — through direct connection with nature, horses, and compassionate awareness.

Drawing on the Self Soul Spirit model developed by Dr. Roger Strachan, participants will explore how different “parts” of the Self respond to personal stress and destabilization in the world. With support, we learn to listen to these parts without judgment and to reconnect with the deeper Soul — the grounded, compassionate presence within us that can hold complexity with peace.

This in-person retreat also integrates principles from the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), which focuses on restoring core human capacities such as connection, attunement, trust, autonomy, and love. Through experiential activities and guided reflection, you’ll gently explore how these capacities may be impacted by uncertainty in your life or current events, and how they can be reawakened in the present.

The horses and the natural environment of the Utah mountains offer profound opportunities for co-regulation and reflection. In their presence, we are invited into authenticity, embodied awareness, and relational safety — qualities that mirror what it feels like to live from Soul.

Whether you are a practitioner, healer, or someone seeking grounding and meaning in uncertain times, this retreat provides a supportive, nature-based pathway toward peace, connection, and wholeness.

Come as you are. Leave more rooted, open, and aligned with your true center.
