The Computer Deconstruction Laboratory at the InfoAge Science and History Museum
Announces a Class in Basic Electronics
The class will be taught over 4 sessions Monday Nights from 7:30-9:30, starting on June 2, 2025 and finishing on June 23.
Week 1: Basic AC and DC circuits
Week 2: Diodes and Transistors
Week 3: Some common Analog Integrated Circuits
Week 4: Some common Digital Integrated Circuits
The class is free for CDL members. Nonmembers are welcome to join for a monthly fee of $50 per month or a yearly fee of $500.
The instructor for the class is Joseph E. Wilkes, PhD
Joe studied Electrical Engineering at the City College of NY and Brooklyn Polytech (now the Tandon School of Engineering at NYU).
Joe is a Life Fellow of the IEEE, holds 4 patents, and has co-authored 3 textbooks on wireless communications. He is also an Extra Class Ham Radio operator.
