Hello everyone!

This meetup marks the start of a new series of events where I will teach you the absolute basics of deep learning! There are many aspects to the AI field that can feel daunting. Many videos/online tutorials brush over extremely important concepts and don't stress enough on what should be memorized in order to effectively think with a problem solving mindset. The aim of these meetups are to get you familiar with the necessary basics to make you understand how people could create custom neural networks from scratch, and how the calculus/linear algebra/probability/programming all play extremely important roles. The content that I present during these events may either dive into lower level or higher level aspects of understanding- however, this depends on how well people are able to follow and genuinely gain some useful knowledge.

This meetup is intended for people of all experience levels, as feedback from attendees will help with future presentations.
