CPTSD Process Group for adults with developmental and relational trauma

Details

Where: Get Centered Counseling, Coaching, and Wellness in Town & Country, MO (West County)
When: Mondays 12pm-1:30pm starting June 30th
Length: ongoing, with a 10-week minimum commitment
Cost: $90/session (charged weekly, regardless of attendance); reduced rate spots available.
Led By: This group is led by Diane Davis, PLPC, a trained complex trauma therapist. Who it’s for: Adults healing from complex trauma. 2 to 6 adults. Mixed gender.
What: Complex trauma (cPTSD) comes from ongoing, pervasive neglect or abuse, not necessarily from a single traumatic event. It is typically organized into categories of developmental, relational, cultural/religious, and intergenerational trauma. It is proven to be most effective to heal in relationship with others, which is why a group setting can be very therapeutic.
How it works: This group takes a NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) approach to developmental and relational trauma with the intention of exploring each person’s own internal experience, deepest desires for themselves, and how we get in our own way.
