Gregory Vigneaux - A Perspective on Inner Time: Duration
Details
We are pleased to welcome Gregory Vigneaux back to The Complexity Lounge.
This talk continues in the same vein as Gregory’s last visit to the Lounge: a biologist's thoughts on time. He previously delivered the talk “Humberto Maturana's Time: Living in the Present,” and discussed Maturana’s autopoietically founded Zero Time. In his upcoming talk, Gregory pivots from Maturana to Francisco Varela and their perspective on time. This talk wanders through Varela’s work on internal time while focusing on duration, presented as elemental to our human, inner sense of time.
