Details

A word refers to a speech sound, or a mixture of two or more speech sounds in both written and verbal form of language. A word works as a symbol to represent/refer to something/someone in language to communicate a specific meaning. Example : 'love', 'cricket', 'sky' etc.

Words are important and powerful. Whether written or spoken they do have an impact on you and the others.

As abuse survivors we understand how important and powerful words are. A word can make you smile or cry, happy or sad, hurt or heal.

Each week we will be discussing different word or phrase relating to our feeling, experiences, expectations and relationships. This word or phase will be chosen in advance and stated in description. The purpose of this meeting to go deeper under just the surface into “word of the week”. What it means to you? What it means for you? What colour it is? How does it taste? How does it feel?
