Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the source behind many popular applications. Whether we are talking about Natural Language Processing (NLP) which is used in several platforms such as Google Translate and Chatbots, or Deep Learning (DL) used in applications such as FaceApp.

Usually, when it comes to these topics, Machine Learning (ML) is the power behind the scenes that makes all of this possible. If you ever wondered what Machine Learning is, join us to our first AI workshop where you will learn:

For beginners:
What is Artificial Intelligence? What is Machine Learning?
Decision Trees, what are they and how can we use them? (+ coding it)

For intermediate:
Making a machine learning program that classifies pictures of dogs and cats. (You will get to understand the math behind it, and libraries used for this purpose)

But even though Artificial Intelligence is the current buzzword in the field. We want to introduce people to coding and Algorithms that constitute the basis for Computer Science and Software Engineering. To this end, we will host:

For beginners:
Real-life problems and how to tackle them by using algorithms
What is an algorithm? Taking a simple game template and coding changes to it.

For intermediate
Graph algorithms, tracing a graph on paper, learning about Breadth First Search (BFS) and Depth First Search (DFS)
For Advanced:
Competitive programming problems. How to think about them and how to solve them. You will be given some problems in the beginning of the event and you try to solve them by the end. (with the help of our mentors through the event)

3:15pm- 4:45pm: Beginner workshop (Algorithms) -- Intermediate Workshop (AI)
4:45pm- 5:30pm: Networking

Please bring your laptop, you will need it for all workshops!
