Hi everyone,
I'm excited to announce our January 2022 event.
Our speakers will be Aielet Efrati and Nir Leibushor from Viz research team. they will share their experience in developing medical grade models from lab to production.
Viz SDH Research is a deep learning based product used to automate and optimize patient screening for life saving clinical procedures. It's underlying algorithm is a multistep pipeline responsible for classification, segmentation and measurements of head CT scans. The low pathology prevalence and costly annotation effort pose challenges for developing and live monitoring of such an algorithm. Delivering a sensitive algorithm with high predictive rate and high-standard visual output was accomplished using a holistic development process. In this talk we will discuss the lessons learned from this process.
About Aielet Efrati,
Aielet is an Algorithm Developer at Viz.ai working on detection and visualization of critical pathologies in head CT scans. Aielet has vast experience in computer vision and deep learning based solutions in healthcare. Aielet holds a Ph.D. in physics from the Weizmann Institute, where she explored the fundamentals of particle physics.
About Nir Leibushor,
Nir is an Algorithm Developer at Viz.ai, involved in deep learning based medical products for detection of brain Large Vascular Occlusion and Intracerebral Hemorrhage. Prior to working at Viz.ai, Nir developed algorithms for face recognition, object detection, object tracking and more.
