Free concert: The Pancakes (Psychedelic Rock)

The record store "Die Schallplatte" in Bad Cannstatt is celebrating its 1 year anniversary with some events. This concert is by the Pforzheim based band The Pancakes.

The psychedelic surf-space krautrock band The Pancakes, led by siblings Daniela and Rainer Neeff with Tristan Reiling, are rocking the planet... They're bringing their latest album, which has been a top seller online since the dreary Corona period and has been featured on various radio shows all over the world. "This album features everything from krautrock with sprawling guitar passages à la Guru Guru, to psychedelic space rock like Hawkwind, to proto-punk and garage rock in the style of Death or Dead Moon, to grunge and straight, contemporary guitar rock. Despite all these different styles, the result never sounds patched together, but rather seamless: a harmonious collage of guitar rock spanning music history from the 70s to the present."
