Concert: The Sophisticated Orchestra Trio (Swing)

One of the world's smallest orchestras takes you on a swinging, elegant, and captivating journey through time with the rhythms that have been making people dance in major cities around the world for quite some time now. The orchestra accompanies "Monsieur Nagel" on vocals and guitar. The orchestra's subtle dynamics provide ample space for Monsieur Nagel's baritone voice, while his exceptionally talented fellow musicians provide a refined backing chorus. Together with Andrew Andrews on drums and George Pommard on double bass, Monsieur Nagel will be interpreting particularly danceable musical gems from the early days of swing this evening, evoking memories of the golden age of the "crooners."
