We are a Los Angeles-based collective that bridges the gap between urban exploration and sun-drenched wilderness trekking. Our group is for the curious: those who want to find secret stairways in Silver Lake one weekend and navigate the rugged, scrub-filled ridges of the Santa Monica Mountains the next. From Hollywood history buffs to ultramarathoners, we welcome anyone ready to trade their GPS for a topographic map. We meet every weekend to explore the diverse textures of LA, proving that even in a city of millions, there are plenty of places to get lost—and found.

Experience the city lights like never before at The Griffith Observatory Night-O, a unique twilight orienteering event. As the sun sets over the Pacific, the rugged hills of Griffith Park transform into a high-stakes navigational playground. This isn't your average hike; you’ll be hunting for reflective checkpoints hidden among manzanita groves, steep ridgelines, and iconic filming locations.
Event Highlights:
Location: Griffith Park (Start near the Greek Theatre).
Time: Saturday, 7:30 PM – 10:00 PM.
Landscape: A mix of fast fire roads and technical, brushy "off-trail" hillside navigation.
The Challenge:
Participants will use a high-contrast night map to locate 20 controls. The real test is managing the "glow" of the city—using the LA skyline as a massive landmark while keeping your eyes on the micro-terrain right in front of your headlamp. Whether you’re sprinting for a podium finish or taking in the views of the Hollywood sign, this is LA at its most adventurous.
