Welcome to the Concrete Jungle Green Thumb Jam Sessions. This is a space for city dwellers who are trying to make things grow in tight spaces, whether you are working with a sunny windowsill, a small balcony, or a shared community garden plot. We started this group because gardening in the city can sometimes feel like a solitary experiment, and we wanted to create a casual environment where we can trade tips, troubleshoot common problems, and share what is actually working for our local microclimates.
Our meetups are low-pressure gatherings where we talk shop, swap seeds or cuttings, and learn from each other's successes and failures. You do not need to be an expert to join us; we are just a collection of neighbors interested in turning our grey corners of the city into something a bit greener.
