About us

Welcome to the Concrete Jungle Green Thumbs Study Circle. This group is for anyone living in the city who wants to get their hands dirty, whether you are trying to coax a tomato plant to grow on a tiny balcony or managing a crowded collection of houseplants in a low-light apartment. We started this group because urban gardening can be a lonely trial-and-error process, and we think it is much easier when we learn from each other.

Our goal is to create a relaxed space where we can share what we have learned about soil health, container gardening, and navigating the unique challenges of growing food and flowers in small, concrete-heavy spaces. We meet regularly to discuss our current projects, troubleshoot problems like pests or lighting issues, and swap tips on what actually thrives in our local climate. If you are looking for a practical, low-pressure way to improve your gardening skills and meet some neighbors, we would love to have you join us.
