In the charming Conde Duque quarter, we organize language study groups, English-Spanish board game sessions, and other language-related events.

We're building a community of professionals who are serious about improving their English or Spanish. To join, you need to meet these requirements:
- Native or C2-level proficiency in English or Spanish and at least A2 level in the other language.
- Under 50 years old.
- Arrive punctually by 7:00 PM and order a drink at the bar. Latecomers must pay for the drink of someone who arrived on time. Once we have started with suitable groups, we won't integrate latecomers anymore.
- Follow moderators' instructions and respect equal speaking time.
The following method is how we learn from each other:
- The English learners answer gap questions like "The . . . you have, the more you want."
- They get immediate feedback from the English speakers.
- The Spanish learners translate the grammar item into Spanish: "Cuanto más tienes, más quieres."
- They get immediate feedback from the Spanish speakers.
- When we have finished the English exercise, we turn it around and apply the same method to a Spanish exercise.
This meetup is free and non-profit. A minimum consumption of one drink is required to secure the venue—no exceptions.
Estamos formando una comunidad de profesionales comprometidos con mejorar su inglés o español. Para unirte, necesitas cumplir con estos requisitos:
- Ser hablante nativo o tener un nivel C2 en inglés o español y al menos un nivel A2 en el otro idioma.
- Tener menos de 50 años.
- Llegar puntualmente a las 7:00 PM y pedir una bebida en el bar. Los que lleguen tarde deben pagar la bebida de alguien que llegó a tiempo. Una vez que hayamos formado los grupos adecuados, ya no integraremos a los que lleguen tarde.
- Seguir las instrucciones de los moderadores y respetar el tiempo de habla equitativo.
El siguiente método es cómo aprendemos unos de otros:
- Los alumnos de inglés responden a preguntas con huecos como «The . . . you have, the more you want.»
- Reciben feedback inmediato de los angloparlantes.
- Los alumnos españoles traducen el elemento gramatical al español: «Cuanto más tienes, más quieres.»
- Reciben comentarios inmediatos de los hispanohablantes.
- Cuando hayamos terminado el ejercicio en inglés, le damos la vuelta y aplicamos el mismo método a un ejercicio en español.
Este encuentro es gratuito y sin fines de lucro. Se requiere un consumo mínimo de una bebida para asegurar el lugar, sin excepciones.

- Werewolves: The Party Game in English & Spanish – Outdoors in Parque del OesteFuente del Nacimiento del Agua, Madrid

- Arrive punctually by 5:30 PM sharp at the meeting point.
- Follow moderators' instructions and respect equal speaking time.
The game: Werewolves is a fun party game that’s perfect for fluency practice. We’ll alternate languages each game — one in English, one in Spanish. Don’t worry if you’re new to this — you'll learn by doing, step by step. Bring a drink, blanket, or anything else you need to stay comfortable sitting on the grass.
Meeting point and venue: We’ll meet at the fountain and then take a 10-minute walk to a suitable spot in Parque del Oeste. Be there by 5:30 PM sharp — we won’t wait for latecomers nor share the exact location.

El juego: Hombres Lobo es un juego social divertido, ideal para practicar fluidez. Alternaremos idiomas en cada partida: una en inglés, otra en español. No te preocupes si nunca has jugado: aprenderás paso a paso, mientras juegas. Trae una bebida, una manta u otra cosa que necesites para estar cómodo sentado en la hierba.
Punto de encuentro y lugar del juego: Nos encontraremos en la fuente y caminaremos 10 minutos hasta un buen sitio en Parque del Oeste. Llega puntual a las 17:30 — no esperaremos a los que lleguen tarde ni compartiremos la ubicación exacta.
