Learn Spanish with Board Games (< 50) - Aprende Inglés con Juegos de Mesa (< 50)

Participants are native speakers or proficient (C2) in English or Spanish and have an A2 or higher level in the other language. Everyone follows the instructions of the moderators. We use gameboards to improve our vocabulary and fluency in the following ways:

• Throughout the meetup, we switch between English and Spanish every 5 minutes.
• Before playing a game, we learn the rules and vocabulary in both English and Spanish. This part is just as important as the game itself.
• Our games are either language-related, like Code Names and Splurt, or communicative, like Werewolves and Saboteur.

This meetup is free of charge and purely non-profit. For obvious reasons, however, everyone must order a drink from our host, Be Happy.

Los participantes son nativos o competentes (C2) en inglés o español y tienen un nivel A2 o superior en el otro idioma. Todos siguen las instrucciones de los moderadores. Utilizamos tableros de juego para mejorar nuestro vocabulario y fluidez de las siguientes maneras:

• A lo largo del encuentro, cambiamos entre inglés y español cada 5 minutos.
• Antes de jugar, aprendemos las reglas y el vocabulario tanto en inglés como en español. Esta parte es tan importante como el juego en sí.
• Nuestros juegos están relacionados con el lenguaje, como Code Names y Splurt, o con la comunicación, como Hombres lobo y Saboteur.

Este encuentro es gratuito y sin ánimo de lucro. Sin embargo, por razones obvias, todo el mundo debe pedir una bebida a nuestro anfitrión, Be Happy.
