Ride the Rim - September 13th - Saturday
Howdy Friends!
The Crater Lake Rim ride is just around the corner. Please check your
calendar and update your RSVP as needed. Several folks are NOT on the meetup
list but will be joining in the fun.

(Rim Village) between 8:30-8:45. A few folks may be camping nearby the night
before - this is the time to look for us.
Bikers will assemble, take a few group pictures, and proceed to ride - we
usually go clockwise around the rim. Although we will start out together, the
group will likely spread out through out the route with some riding faster,
some not as fast. The ride is well supported with multiple rest/snack shops,
but everyone should be prepared with water bottles, extra snacks, tube repair
kit, windbreaker, etc.

We will gather at the end at the Rim Village for a few after pictures and easy
walking along the rim for awesome views!!
In years past we have stopped for a late afternoon lunch during the caravan
ride home at one of the burger/sandwich joints on Hwy 97.
Cell service while in the park is limited, but you can note my number for

Ride the Rim Crater Lake is taking place on September 14th and September 21st 2018, and jointly hosted by Crater Lake National Park and the Discover Klamath Visitor Center and Convention Bureau. The ride is a vehicle free way to experience East Rim Drive with approximately 25 miles and 3,500 feet of climbing."
