Vernal Fall in Yosemite National Park via The Mist Trail

Several members have expressed an interest in a hike and since I LOVE hiking I am happy to organize this group hike for anyone interested in joining.

The Mist Trail in Yosemite National Park. This trail takes you to Vernal Fall.
⛰️Hike Details:

Top of Vernal Fall via The Mist Trail
Distance: 2.4 miles round trip
Time: 3 hours
This is an Out & Back trail
It is considered Moderate to Difficult. NOT for beginners. It will be steep with switchbacks and slippery and wet in some sections.
Elevation Gain: 1,000 ft

🥾Wear appropriate trail or hiking shoes. It will be slippery when wet!
💧Rain/waterproof jacket or quick dry clothing for the Mist section. You will get wet if not soaked if the waterfall is still raging.
🥪 Bring your own snacks and/or light lunch to have at top of Vernal Fall and Plenty of water!
🧴Sunscreen, mosquito protection recommended.

NOTES:
💲Park Entry Fee per vehicle: $35, unless you have an Entrance Pass

🅿️Parking: Curry Village - less than 1 mile from the trailhead. We will walk to trailhead together from this parking area.

Trail Etiquette:
🚫 Do not feed the wildlife. Carry out all trash and food waste (fruit peels, shells, etc.)
🚫Pets, bicycles, strollers prohibited.

Meetup:
5:45 AM - Carpool meet up at the Trader Joe’s parking Lot off of Friant and Audubon Dr. We can easily get on to Freeway 41 North from here.
6:00 AM - Get on the road.

You are responsible for your carpool or to take your own vehicle. If you are carpooling it is recommended you bring cash for the driver.

Trailhead ETA will be around 8:00/8:30am depending on traffic, bathrooms stops etc. .
