What This Workshop Is About

Do you ever walk away from a conversation replaying everything you said, wondering if you sounded awkward, or wishing you had said something different?

Overthinking is one of the biggest obstacles to feeling confident socially. The more you monitor yourself, search for the perfect response, or worry about how you're coming across, the harder it becomes to stay present with the person in front of you. The good news is that confident conversations aren't about having the perfect words—they're about shifting your attention away from yourself and back to the conversation.

In this workshop, we'll explore why we overthink, how to get out of your head without trying to stop your thoughts, and practical ways to become more present, curious, and engaged. Whether you struggle with anxiety, blanking out, or replaying conversations long after they're over, you'll leave with tools that help you enjoy conversations instead of analyzing them.

What You’ll Learn / Practice

  • Why overthinking happens and how it keeps you stuck in your own head

  • How to shift your attention from self-consciousness to genuine curiosity

  • Simple ways to become a better listener and create more meaningful conversations

  • How to stay present—even when your mind is telling you something is going wrong

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What to Expect

This workshop will include teaching, discussion, coaching, and opportunities to ask questions.
Many people attend for the first time feeling nervous or unsure—and that's completely normal.

You're welcome to:

  • participate actively
  • ease in gradually
  • observe quietly at first
  • ask questions throughout the event

The goal is progress, not perfection.
