About us
Founded in 1994, Congregation Beth Adam provides a home for secular Jews and their families, including inter-faith, multicultural, and LGBT families who want to celebrate their Jewish identity and heritage. Join CBA to celebrate your Jewish identity, culture and traditions in a modern world using science and reason to explain historical and current events. We celebrate all holidays, Shabbat and lifecycle events. CBA has a Children's Education Program for grades kindergarten thru Bar/Bat Mitzvah.

Community Shabbat with speaker Bob Slatkin
South County Civic Center, 16700 Jog Rd, Delray Beach, FL, US# CBA's Community Shabbat in-person and on Zoom with Guest Speaker Bob Slatkin
March 20th come and experience a Humanistic Shabbat celebration with guest speaker Bob Slatkin . He states, "according to new research, the Arctic is heating up nearly four times faster than the Earth as a whole. These findings are a reminder that the people, plants and animals in polar regions are experiencing rapid, and disastrous, climate change. Heat waves in the far North have driven wildfires and jaw-dropping ice melt in the circumpolar region which includes Alaska, Arctic Canada, Greenland, Scandinavia and Siberia."As Mr. Slatkin points out, “What happens in the Arctic, doesn’t stay in the Arctic.” Rapid Arctic warming affects people living far from the Arctic circle. For example, there is evidence that weather patterns are shifting across the United States and Europe as the sea ice melts. He will discuss what is causing all of this and the consequences we can expect.Everyone is welcome. Bring a friend! No registration required
